With its sunny blue skies and 70 degree temps, Christmas in L.A. is always special no matter if you’re naughty or nice!

“Christmas in LA” decks the halls with hip hop holiday cheer featuring L.A.’s own Grammy Award nominated emcees Myka 9, Aceyalone, Medusa The Gangsta Goddess and 2Mex — along with legendary Mixmaster Wolf, DJ Mona Lisa and Grammy Award winning Ozomatli!

Produced by L.A. native Dan Ubick, “Christmas in LA” is a holiday love letter to the city. Rappers Myka 9, Aceyalone, Medusa and 2Mex paint verbal pictures as they reflect, reminisce and share their unique Christmas stories about celebrating Christmas in the City of Angels.

“Christmas in LA” is fun and contagious. It will make you dance and sing… Jingle, Jingle, Jingle Christmas in LA, oh what fun it is to ride in a four door Chevrolet!


Myka 9 is a vocalist from Los Angeles, California known primarily as a rapper that helped get the world to freestyle while seeding the underground hip-hop movement with groups like the Freestyle Fellowship, Haiku d'Etat and Free Association with Project Blowed.


Edwin Maximilian "Eddie" Hayes, Jr. (born September 30, 1970), better known by his stage name Aceyalone, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California, United States. He is a member of Freestyle Fellowship, Haiku D'Etat and The A-Team. He is also a co-founder of Project Blowed. Aceyalone is best known for his role in evolving left-field hip-hop on the West Coast at a time when the West Coast was dominated by gangsta rap.


Medusa's music makes you feel strong, proud, and encourages ONE Love. Coming up in the LA scene, she honed her skills At the Good Life café and Leimert Park’s “Project Blowed” Workshop, around Freestyle Fellowship, Black Eye Peas, Macy Grey, and Xzibit, Medusa was also the first MC in the LA hip hop scene with a live band.


Alejandro Ocana, better known by his stage name 2Mex, is a rapper from Los Angeles, California, United States. He is a member of The Visionaries and Of Mexican Descent. His collaborations include underground hip hop artists such as Jel, Omid, Thavius Beck, Factor, Radioinactive, and Isaiah "Ikey" Owens. He is a member of the Project Blowed crew and affiliated with Shape Shifters.

Connie Price and the Keystones are a musical group from Los Angeles, California who throw in elements of funk, ’60’s and ’70’s film scores, Jamaican production aesthetics, African and Brazilian overtones, psychedelia and a whole bunch of soul.

Though the name connotes a female lead, Connie (Constantine to be exact) Price and The Keystones is in fact a project helmed by 6’4″ guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Dan Constantine Ubick (formerly guitarist for Breakestra and De La Soul/Rhythm Roots All Stars) who plays drums under the name Connie Price.
