Tom Wallace is a global authority on youth culture and helps brands connect with youth culture lifestyles. Tom has created ground-breaking consumer insights, analysis and brand strategies for many of the world’s leading youth lifestyle brands in fashion, music, technology, and sports — Nike, Vans, Red Bull, Apple, Burton snowboards, Matador Jerky, Zico Coconut Water, Timberland, The North Face, as well as youth culture industry organization such as Surf Industries Association (SIMA), Snow Industries of America (SIA), the Outdoor Industry Association, and the Boy Scouts of America. Tom is a frequent speaker at leading youth branding summits and conferences including the upcoming SXSW Eco Conferenc. His forthcoming book on youth culture and sustainability will be released in 2015 by Island Press. Tom is a graduate of Western Washington University with a BA in Visual Communications and is currently on the board of advisers of the non-profit Sustainable Surf.
